Brain Dead
I honestly think I left my brain under my pillow this morning. Every time I sit down to write something my mind goes blank but if I get up and start doing something else I get a whole bunch of stuff running thru my head about the things I want to write about. Then I go sit down to type them out and my mind goes totally blank again. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me? And, if you do by any chance have this problem, what did you do tio fix it??

I have the same issue that is reason I take short notes while moving around then when I sit down I put those notes in order to complete article.
Hello Kandi,
I had this problem once. My teenage son has this problem occasionally as well. It's a very common problem for we writers. Some like to refer to it as writer's block. I have a tip that works well for me and that may work for you and others.
Ask yourself if you ever run short on words when talking with someone. When you're upset at a mate or spouse, do you ever run out of ways to tell them how you really feel? Writing is very much the same thing. Writing is simply talking. We never run out of things to say, so our paper should never be blank.
Forget about grammar and spelling and just talk to the paper as if you were talking to a friend or someone at the grocery store. You can go back and clean it up when you're done. If you are anything like me when I'm talking to my husband, I'm never short of words. I can always think of ways for him to improve. Ha! That was a joke.
Seriously, it's rare that women run out of words. It's one of our better qualities. Ha! Think of your paper as your friend, and talk to it. Tell it exactly how you feel. Let the words flow freely like conversation. We want to hear your voice in your writing. Let me know if that works for you.
Sincerely,
Sanetra
I have the same problem so if I can remember I try to write things down when I think of them. That way when I go to type everything out I have that thought written down. The only problem is I always forget to write things down (haha)
Don't worry we can encourage each other and check in every now again to see how the other is doing.

Y'all have some great ideas and I found out that I'm not the only one with this issue.
