Persistence, My Dear Friend
Today I made persistence my friend and continued my training to be a better person. Entrepreneurship is both offline and online for me. WA is my winning strategy online so my mental toughness has to be exercised for my winning strategy offline.
For a good while now I promised to separate and crush my plastic bottles for recycling but i procrastinated. And they continued to pile up. Now with mosquito breeding increasing with the rains I could no longer put off my task or else I would risk losing an investment. Oh yes I invest in plastics. I make a change off persons trash. Many jamaicans are still unaware of this income stream. Plus, some see the opportunity but say no because its disguised as hard work for little money. But I know that the compound effect will be working on my side.
So I cushed one bottle at a time in the hot sun of my back yard and bagged out the bottles. Each bottle made my hands blister but I toughed it out. Each bottle I counted a success until I was completed. I didn't even count them. I guess I forgot that part of the task because I was busy making the work fun so I stayed motivated to completion. Counting the bottles and timing my execution would be good to know my efficiency. But I need to raise some funds so I can build or buy a crusher. Well one task down and my hustling is on again. HUSTLE and LEARN
