2. Go to posts and pages look to the top and you will see trash in menu on the left
Click on this see if its there then click drop down menu called bulk actions
Select restore
Click apply

I was making so much progress! I had fresh ideas. I gotta recover from this tragic incident. LOL.
The last thing I noticed I was trying to put the header back in because I had to change it. Then I backspaced on the header it was gone, I began typing the header but it wouldn't go back to the header font and I went to go type the header (in regular font) then my content was just gone after I started typing. I tried to undo it but all was lost. It was such great content!
If you were in site content it usually automictically saves it for you. Go to site content > unpublished at the top and click to see if it saved as a draft.
I dont know what happened but it did not automatically save. I was typing in that section for half an hour.
