A little Discouraged Lately

So this blog is going to be a little short. Just a little update of my progress.

I am now getting ready for my 2 month anniversary soon and have lots of traffic and a few pages on page 1, 2, 3, and 4, but I have only made $.14. Needless to say I am becoming a little discouraged.

I have 2 websites, 1 is my own niche and the other promotes WA, but I am not making anything from either one, nor am I receiving any WA leads either.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there something more I should be doing?

I am not expecting to make much right off the bat, but a little bit every so often would be nice and it would be a big motivator.

So, any advice would be greatly appreciated on getting conversions from the traffic.

Thank you,

Kristena

You need to put any negativity out of your head and "know" it's going to come if you keep plugging away.

Hi Christina,
I had a look at your kitchen gadgets site and it looks impressive. I would just keep doing what you are doing now. It takes a while to build up credibility. What you are doing now is going to pay off - you just need to be patient.

I remember reading a post from a very successful person here. As I recall, he really started to take off after four months and he was hitting it really hard publishing as I recall 3 posts a day for the first few months. It seems like a combination of age and content hits critical mass and traffic and sales rise in a steeper curve.

So, I wouldn't get discouraged.

Sincerely,

Xin

How many visitors are we talking about? 50/day? 200/day?. If you are getting a lot of visitors and have nothing to show for it, you may need to re-examine the site itself. How many people are going beyond the first page? Which website is your own niche? What are you trying to get people to buy? Why do they lack incentives to buy it? Are you getting the right type of visitors? Ask these questions.

Hi Kristena. I have not seen your sites, but from what I do know, it is just going to take more time. Patience is key in this business and at only 2 months in, you just need to keep doing your thing. Add that content and then add some more. :)

Usually it takes at least 3 months before you notice an increase in the traffic and a few more commissions. I doubt you are doing anything wrong, in fact, you are probably doing it all right. Stay positive and know that what you are accomplishing today will pay off eventually.
