My (sometimes) Coherent Stream of Consciousness

Hi friends, this is my first blog post here so I will be brief.

I have made several attempts on my own to nail down my niche, create a site and develop useful content. Suffice it to say, life always got in the way, I would lose focus, begin to falter, concentrate on the next, shiny thing and my earlier efforts would languish.

Putting a good spin on this process, it lead me to WA and its structure and community. I believe that I, being such a 'go it alone' type of person have missed out on so much of the richness of life. It has certainly cost me personally very dearly. At 58, nearing the "youth of old age", certain things attain a certain 'clarity' that were maybe lacking before.

My goal for being part of the WA family is to finally create a successful site. One that is a helpful outlet for the things that i enjoy, and a source of income that allows me to work from home so I can take care of my wife who has been suffering with debilitating illness for over two decades.

I wish I had found and started with WA earlier, but I am also grateful that I found you at all, period. I have found in my own working life that when I possessed a valuable skill that was helpful to people, I never had to worry about money or income. It just flowed to me on autopilot.

It is clear that this same principal is at work on the Web, and WA and its community are acting as able guides to provide the direction required to navigate to it.

I snapped the photo about in the Gulf of Mexico last year at sunset. (I love sunsets). It doesn't take much imagination to think of it as a sunrise, and a representation of what has begun here for me.
