What every new Internet Marketer needs to hear , the Short Truth!
This is intended for the new people with Internet Marketing, and or, Wealthy Affiliate.
A good portion of you probably have an idea on where to get started here, but there are some that come to Wealthy Affiliate who are so new to this "promised" world of riches, who just upgrade to platinum and expect to push a few buttons and make a living.
A few of these people may have just been fired , laid off , never had a job , young kids with folks telling them to go out and get a job and 90% of the time from searching on google they come upon this secret world of making money from the safety of your own room. At this point you get instantly excited and think you found a gold mine. The videos you first see are these Guru marketers standing next to mansions and fancy cars promising you an autopilot method of making nice cash.
Some of you with this mindset ( its a small portion ) find Wealthy Affiliate in some way, and think that the platinum membership here is just another "auto-pilot" method. The case here, is completely the opposite.
A lot of you are in desperate need of cash right now, bills need to be paid, and food needs to be put on the table. The sad thing is , this working from home thing is not going to generate anything for you right away, unless your lucky, but thats just luck.
There is a process here.
A process you need to follow closely before you can generate anything.
See, as desperate as you are for cash right now, you only need to make part -time money to satisfy your immediate needs.
The average part time job here in America pays you about 35-40 dollars a day, its all you really need right now if your hurting and barely surviving. That being said the good news here is
With Internet Marketing YOU can easily make 35 Dollars a day, SUPER EASY!
But it all comes back to that process, something that may not suit you right now, but your going to have to do it, if you want to be in this workforce. The truth is your going to have to be a
EXPERT, in this marketing field, to even GENERATE $20 dollars a day on a constant basis.
Not everyone in this world can generate 150-200 dollars a day online, even with advanced knowledge ( mostly due to work ethics ) , because then it would be considered a easy money "hack" and then life as you know it will be a world full of chaos. Its not how life was designed to be. That being said, everyone in this world could make at least 35 dollars a day if they dedicate themselves to be a EXPERT.
Remember, you only need to reach Expert status and not Guru, don't even worry about that yet, they are totally different.
How to be a expert you ask? Well that's where Wealthy Affiliate comes in handy, What WA is, basically its a college course designed to teach you the necessary skills to achieve the minimum of at least maintaining 30 dollars a day for your online business.
Obviously, the more you learn the more you can make. The average everyday person who took time to study and master themselves are making a nice 50,000 , 75,000 dollars a year just from marketing, but you need to have HIGH work ethic to be in this field, or success will not be reached.
You can either master the art of creating a website with a good niche and bring the hungry - starved people to your site and buy your products , or become a master at affiliate marketing, promoting other peoples website or product and receiving commission. Now there's many other methods in this business you can advert to, but these two are the ones that are taught here.
Your going to need to follow every course Kyle and Carson has created here, your going to need to take notes on each video, and your going to need to follow each step exactly as it is layed out. Remember, Wealthy Affiliate in a nutshell is a college course on the basics of Internet Marketing, it's going to give you the knowledge and tools to succeed. Yes, you may need to upgrade to platinum to gain access to everything if you haven't already, but as you should know, with any business, you need to invest money to make money.
Your determination for success will reward your wallet greatly.
Focus on studying every single course that's available to you here, your going to need to do this before you do ANYTHING. This is going to take a few days to a week before you gather the information you need to move forward.
I always believed that generating your own income is the key to life. It really is. It opens every door possible that you can imagine. Working a 9-5 is just being a slave with low pay. You don't want that for the rest of your life.
Take the time to learn the ropes and you'll be fine, and always remember

I know I read your info, when you followed me. I was very impressed. I'm pretty sure you're going to do great things here. Keep it up! I even like the name Fossil it's a great nickname.
This is the kind of thing that needs to be said more often, Sean! Great job on summing it up with such clarity.
I used to be the one that thought money was a few clicks away, if I only knew which buttons to click and when. Thankfully my inbred work ethic kept telling me there was something wrong with what all the "gurus" were selling. After two years of branding and building what would end up being an embarrassing joke, I went back to my old-school methods of working as a means to an end.
So glad that my eyes were opened and was then able to find WA when I needed it most to complete my "degree"!
Now the future's so bright, I need to wear shades!
