Getting back into it.
I have been somewhat absent from WA for almost two months now (I have occasionally read blogposts by some of my favourite WA members but otherwise I have not been active). My children were on school holidays for almost 2 months so that took up a fair chunk of my time. Entertaining them for that amount of time is time-consuming and costly! On top of that I had my father in law in hospital for several weeks and we had to tend to my mother-in-law who is not in the best health herself. To top it off my husbands business was taking up any spare time that I had so my time was fully consumed.
But that is life.
As much as it frustrated me and left me feeling a little bit despondent because my dreams were taking a back seat and my momentum had been interrupted, there wasn't much I could do so I had to ride it out.
So here I am today, sweltering in 42 degrees Celsius (that's 108 Fahrenheit for those of you in other parts of the world). Even the grass is burning underfoot and my washing is drying in under 30 minutes. That is seriously hot. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
So my weekend plans have been dashed due to the extreme weather and I am back into the world of WA. It feels good to be back. I was struggling to find my starting point today - when you haven't been focussing on this for a while it can been a bit overwhelming when you try to get back into things. So I decided do a blog post to get the brain juices flowing.....next step......still have no idea!
Must be coffee time....
Julie
Welcome, back, Julie, all the best.
