Work While Traveling? No, I am Not Crazy!
Hey there, fellow hustlers.
Ok, I confess, I am a travel junkie.
But how many people started an online business, because they want to travel extensively?
I think that was the trigger for many of you, as it was for me.
Even though, now it is a "regular" holiday season, at least in Europe, so you might want to chill and not work.
Not only it is possible to combine work and leisure, but when you have your online business up and running, you can be taking these "working" holidays regularly.
How it would feel when people around you are going to almost freeze them up in the winter, while you are heading to a summer destination?
P.S .: If you wonder, how to combine work and leisure, I wrote about it here, while in Canarias in February this year.
P.S. 2: I started my Instagram account recently, and will post about my past and present travels over there. I just started, so please be gentle when liking and sharing ;-)
btw, if you are interested, the picture above is from Zakynthos where I have been for the last two weeks, and next to the perfect views, beaches and food, I also worked, as you can see from the picture above-;)
Am I Crazy When You Work While on Vacation?Well, I don't think I am crazy if I work while traveling.
You see since I started to work on my online business I do this "working holiday" for 8 weeks.
In other words: I am able to stay 8 weeks by the beach and enjoy the sun, even if in my city is peak winter time.
So, when my friends think I am crazy that I bring extra luggage full of books, while traveling, I just send them pictures like this:
(Taken on the 24th December 2021)
If you are starting out...You might find it difficult to afford $49 a month to pay the WA Premium. I understand and I get it. It might be not easy. Especially, if you are living in a country that is more affected by the price drop.
But if you allow me to put it from a different perspective.
$49 a month is less than $2 a day.
Would you be able to afford it then?
Maybe if you don't buy your coffee while on the way to your work. Or if you skip the lunch at the canteen in your office and bring your own (oftentimes healthier) lunch.
In case, you don't pay for lunch directly, your boss probably does. Can you ask him, not to eat at your work, but get money instead?
While working in the hotel, my launch cost me $2,95 without even knowing that.
Should I know, I would avoid the overcooked stuff. On top of my better health, I would save almost $60 every month.
Do you see where am I heading?
Where you will travel next?
While on the trip to Greece, I read an amazingly motivational question:
What you would do to achieve your 10 years dreams in 6 months if you have a gun next to your head?
Some of you might find it outrageous, but oftentimes, we just dream for the future.
But what about now? Can you start now with you know, where you are and with the tools you have?
If answered honestly, very often, you will say YES.
Don't wait for the best moment, but create it.
Please let me know, where you spend your holidays, and if you like to work while traveling...(would be good to feel, I am not the only one;-)
Cheers,
Julius

I don't travel much at all, I just like the idea of making money online, Julius! Good on you, though, my friend!
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your comment and for sharing your view. I agree, in order to have a happy life, you don't need to necessarily travel. Especially, if you have done a lot of travel in the past. For me, it is something I really enjoy. Earning money online is in any case, the best way to gain freedom of choice and time freedom.
Cheers,
Julius
Yes it is Julius, and make no mistake--do what you love, my friend!
Keep Succeeding!
Jeff
You are exactly right.... $2/day. In California, that would be skipping 3 Starbuck coffees a week. The program is well worth it. Travel is a fantastic niche. It's on the things I read most about myself and watch most on YouTube. You will be enjoying your passion and working at the same time. Fantastic!!
Right? I think $2 a day is more than affordable. Definitely in the western world. I can imagine, there are places in the world, where it might be representing value much higher, but there are always ways to pay for the premium. Also, considering the black Friday deals, where the premium will cost just $0.82 a day. Traveling is again a swank, after the covid crisis. I love beautiful places, but not so crowded. To relax and for work. I might start my own YouTube channel and website, completely around traveling, for now, I am building awareness on Instagram, and traveling is something that can be well-documented with pictures. Thanks for your comment.
Cheers,
Julius
