I am referring to these "best X" kind of keywords, for example "best cameras for travel" .

When you are dealing with such keywords, how many cameras (in this example) do

There is no fast rules on it. You might want to test it out by creating 2-3 posts reviewing products, display different number of product to each post and see which converts better.

I would agree that too many may confuse your readers. 5-7 might be a nice number to test.

All the best.

I am playing with Jaaxy for my niche/keyword research and having fun testing many different niches.
However, many times it happens that Jaaxy gives me a green "great" with a

It is funny you say that because this was one of the biggest things that I had an issue with grasping when I first started.

In its simplest explanation.... trust the training and the system. It works!

Also keep in mind that not ever post you ever make will rank, but most will.

With that said, here is a more detailed explanation...

Look at the process from googles eyes.

Google wants to give the searcher the BEST result REGARDLESS of who the site is. If they give a good result, you as the searcher will use Google over and over again. the longer and more they use google, the more money google makes, so it is in googles best interest to deliver a good RELEVANT result.

It is very likely that your very detailed post about "how to stop child obesity" could be more relevant than a high authority site that just HAPPENS to be ranking for the same term.

Google is serving up the best result that it possibly can to answer the question for the person doing the searching.

Let me see if i can explain an example:
Amazon creates a page that directly targets the keyword "child obesity". Amazon has a POWER of 99 out of 100 (For that keyword only), so if they target it, they will have a good chance at ranking for it based on RELEVANCE.

So here is the key, a single page can rank for hundreds of keywords.

So Amazon may rank for the keyword "how to stop child obesity" but only hold a power of 75 out of 100 because the page is not directly SEO'd for that keyword.

Google only displays that result because it has nothing better to display.

That means that there is a GAP there for a more relevant webpage.

That is where yuo come in.

And how Jaaxy gets its rating system from. It takes the relevancy of the webpage in conjunction with the keyword being searched.

Your little old site may have less authority, but it is more relevant for what is being searched for, THUS google will eventually (note i said eventually and not immediately) rank yuo BETTER than the higher authority site.

Now for the process to work, it definitely takes time. It also depends on the fact that you write a GOOD relevant 1000+ word article explaining the subject in and out.

Depending on the niche ranking for that term can take a year or more, but as your site grows in it's authority in google, it will begin to trust you more to outrank higher authority sites for the mere fact that you are more relevant.

That is our "in" as affiliate marketers long tail keywords and that GAP that exists.

I have a page that i wrote 7 months ago, rarely got a sniff of traffic. Then as my site got more authority over time, than it eventually started to beat out BIG sites because it was a more relevant post. So i am now getting consistant traffic to a page that i wasnt getting any traffic on the first 6 months of it's existence.

anways, thta is the long winded answer to your question. I hope it makes sense.

I think I will rewrite this and make it a blog post, lol!

Wow thank you so much Chris for taking the time to write such a detailed answer!

So if I understand well, the big sites I am seeing are more or less there "by default" but Jaaxy saw that they were not ranking for exactly that keyword - So if i create an outstanding article about the precise keyword, I can outrank them as my site gains authority. It makes sense.

All these big sites look very scary when you are a small budding affiliate marketer lol - It feels like you will never ever rank for anything, whatever the niche you choose!

I will learn to trust Jaaxy and continue my research then :)

that is it in a nutshell.

I am a professional blogger so I am paid to be long winded! lol.

as a pro tip, do not ever waste more than 15-20 minutes on keyword research.

your primary objective is to get as much content out on the web as possible. you do that and you will make money faster.

people cannot find you if you put nothing out there to find, catch my drift?

when you do the google search, check to see which sites have the exact keyword phrase in the title tag and meta description, if you do not see it very often,

there is opportunity!

Haha I understand - Don't spend your life studying things, take action! I will!

Awesome thank you so much!
