When Life Give You Lemons
Add some Vodka!
That's all I can do at this point. I am dealing with the rapid decline of an elderly family member and dealing with all the responsibilities that come with being a caregiver. This is stressful beyond belief, but having done this before with my parents I know that I can handle it.
I am more determined than ever to make this work, although I am still struggling to decide my niche. Perhaps a caregiver niche? Elder care? Child care? Products for the homebound to make their lives easier? Some of these popped into my head this morning while going through all this paperwork. I just see the fear and the confusion and know that if she is feeling this, what do others feel? And the caregivers? There aren't too many places online for someone to go that are all-inclusive.
If any of you have some feedback about those as a nice, please let me know I welcome all of your comments.
I still believe 2014 is going to be THE year to start my new business...I just need to keep the difficulties and the obstacles from stopping me.

Wow, We are also going through this with my mom. She is being very difficult because she is in denial about her health. She forgets who she is talking to or who has visited. Her husbands does not help, because he does not know how or what to do. He cant take care of himself and I don't know what to do. I wish you all the best and I pray for you and your family. Bless you all! 2014 will be awesome.
I understand what you are dealing with. I took care of an elderly relative even though she was in care facilities I saw her every day and tended to her needs the best I could. I also was mourning the loss of my father and going through a divorce.
As to your niche, this may be of interest to you now but will it continue to be of interest to you a year or more down the road. Though niches can come and go with time, I would pick one in which you have a desire to promote and not a niche because you are dealing with a situation.
Though you could look at this niche as a way to get answers to your situation and meet others through your website with a similar situation. You could form your own support group online. No niche is really bad. Pick what is best suited to you and will allow you to be able to write quality content.
Let me know if you need to talk. I am happy to lend my ear. Debbie

Support across the interweb thingy I can identify...however- practicalities...I agree with msdj8163. I would not confuse a desirable niche with self-medication-therapy....I have been tempted myself- so not being critical here..I would doubt that the stream of products would be as plentiful as some other niches...your choice should juice you as much as the moment when you are about to throw yourself out of the plane- if that is possible...that way lies passion and involvement for sure. Best wishes..
