Your commissions depend on your membership status....
At the moment you are a paid premium member which means that you will get paid around 48% ($23.50) for a premium referral.
If you take a break and stop paying for premium then your account will default back to "starter member" status. You will still get commissions for any premium referrals but these will be paid out at around 24% ($11.50). You will still be able to log in to you WA account and check your stats.
If you cancel your account then your affiliate link will no longer be valid and you will not receive any affiliate commissions form anyone who follows your links to WA.

You don't get the commission, but the sign-up will still be credited to you as the referrer. When you rejoin and resubscribe to WA, you will resume these commissions.
