The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have just snapped an almost 29 year losing streak and have won the 2019 Grey Cup Championship. They were considered the underdog and were pretty much a long shot for the win but they pulled it off.

One of their fans Chris Matthew said he wouldn't wear pants until his team the Blue Bombers won the Grey Cup and has been wearing shorts since 2001. Just in case some of you aren't familiar with us up here in Canada it can get really cold in Winnipeg so he was definitely a totally dedicated fan.

Chris and his wife Darla were gifted last minute Grey Cup tickets and flights from Shaw Communications on Saturday and were there to watch their team take the win. Shaw came up with the tickets as Chris's story went viral. His 18 years of dedication for his team paid off today at the 107th Grey Cup game.

The Blue Bombers and Chris are outstanding examples of tenacity and not giving up on their dream. And when you stop and consider it, there's a great lesson there for us as well.

Building your own online business is a process that takes dedication and tenacity. The timing has never been better and it's an easier process than wearing shorts for 18 years in Winnipeg where the tempuratures rarely exceed 0 Celcius and have an average low -20.2 Celcius.

It's one of those things where you need to choose what's really difficult... taking the time to learn how to effectively build an online business and then taking action and doing it or not living the life you truly desire. I'm absolutely 100% clear on which way I'd go.

How about you? Is it worth the time and sacrifice to make your dreams come true?

Loved the post!

Jeff

I normally wear shorts too, thankfully I live in Vancouver though ;)
I have a few very happy friends now about the Bombers win.
Stanley Cup next?
Tenacity is key. Gotta keep going, every day. Some days are harder than others, but gotta push through it.
Thanks for the reminder.

It's worth every sacrifice. Thank you for this inspiring post.

I hope I don't have to wait 29 years to get to the top Judy. Jim

You and me both Jim! They get full points for tenacity.

Thanks,
Judy
