My Progress is Slow, But Moving
I started in May of 2014.Seven months already and I have a website with articles and pictures.I have followed the course, been stuck and frustrated almost to tears, (well, maybe there were a few, I cry easily), but I keep going and trying. It’s the technical stuff that gets me the worst.
Thanks to this wonderful group of people here at Wealthy Affiliate, we lovingly refer to as family, I get the help I seek.I ask a question and get an answer almost before I’m finished asking.I said that earlier on a comment.A helping hand reaches out and I find myself being able to finish the task. Then it’s on to the next lesson and the process starts all over again.
I have wanted to start my own business for a long time.I hate going to work and being at someone else’s beck and call.I give up my time, hours, and minutes to make someone a millionaire and I barely get by.My present job, along with stress and intimidation, leaves me achy, tired, and a bit whiney.
Where I’m at now in my WA journey is being the owner of my own website, www.purplesagewesternridinggear.com.I’ve had a couple of websites before, one that I tried to build myself (yeah, that was a joke), and another that someone else built then kind of left me hanging. They took a bunch of money first so I guess they got something out of the deal.
I haven’t made money yet, but the potential is there. The blueprint is marked out.The website is the foundation and the content is the walls and rooms. Our websites are our homes and futures.
I’ve learned so much here. Not only about building a business, but also about a worldwide togetherness in this awesome community. The connections I’ve made with people all over are amazing and make my life richer.I am happy to be a part of it all.I thank God for leading me here.
I add my thank you to Kyle and Carson for the opportunity to be a part of the group and all their great training.I thank Nathaniell for all his help and his site One More Cup of Coffee that through reading his blog got me to Wealthy Affiliate.
Thank you everyone.
Have a great and blessed day.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Very cool blog, Judy. Thanks very much for yr sharing. :)
You are doing fine, Judy. ;) It really takes time, determination and hardwork to start making money with our sites. :) We need at least 6 to 12 months to see some results. :)
I wish you nothing but the best in whatever you do, be it online and offline. :)
I like to see yr smiling face. God bless your online business, my dear friend. :)
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. I'm trying to be patient and work at content.
I wish you the best as well. Blessings to you too, dear friend. :)
Hi Judy, Your post is great and you are obviously a very gifted "horse"
writer. I don't get a feel for what your goal with WA is? Many successful Internet Marketers say, if you are not making money, it is a "Hobby" and when you ARE making money, it is a "Business". Peace.....
My goal with WA is to make my website work for me and make money and learn how to do all this through WA because they know how it's done. It's my understanding that it takes time and work of which I am striving for.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. :)
Nobody will take your money to leave you high and dry here....you are in the best place possible! You already have some 'feel' for being online and now you have the best possible training and support in order to make your dream a reality! WA has the finest networking out there; this group of 'extended family' members is beyond compare! At least, that is my opinion anyway....
Just read my original comment....I left out that your site is sooooo good! I love what you have done with it and would imagine this will do quite well for you. It is great!
Sorry, offline a few days.....you are most welcome! Happy Holidays to you and yours! Here's to a bright 2015!
Hey Judy. This journey is a marathon. Most of us if not all, have to go through the same process. We just have to hold on and move on. I'm one of the many people like you. Success to us!
