There it is, my very first sale, so excited!
Hi WA family, I am so very excited to write this post as I have been working very hard for eight months now to accomplish the milestone of my very first sale.
Yesterday I was listening to the training 4.9 where Kyle talks about setting goals. He also mentioned that probably most of us might have earned revenue at this stage. I felt a bit defeated receiving this message, as for me this very first sale didn't happen yet, despite my hard work.
It was only earlier that day that I decided that I would let go of focusing on my first sale, I would focus on producing high-quality content.
I thought to myself. I am probably just not good enough yet. I am still working very hard on my writing skills to produce good quality and readable content. My time will come...
When I checked my email this morning, I was amazed to find an email from one of the merchants I affiliate with stating: 'Congratulations with your first sale'. I couldn't quite believe what I was reading. There it was, my very first sale, is this real? Eight months I worked very hard to reach this point, never quite sure if I would get there.
When I logged in to my share a sale account to check out my sale, I was reading the following details:
I thought to myself, wow that is not a bad sale for a first sale, that means I would get around $8.70 commission. When I was investigating my sale further, I saw the following information:
Wow, a sale of 875,70 is made through a link of my website, that is amazing. My first commission to receive is $87,57. This just blew me away. I feel so happy I have reached this milestone. I would have been pleased with any amount of sale, a sale is a sale, but an $875.70 sale just blew me away.
I am felt like celebrating with champagne as this will be a memorable day for me. I want to say a big thank you to Kyle and Carson for creating this fantastic platform where anyone has a fair shot at making their dreams come true. (I can still not believe this is true, is it? Somebody has to pinch me).
Big, thank you for all you who encouraged me and answered all these questions to come to this point where I am now. I appreciate you all very much.
Thank you
A special thanks to @Jay and @Jk-west(my sponsor), @Dave07, @Micheal(Greensail), @Rudy, @HildeRegine, @DianeScarpio, @Triblu and @MarionBlack, I wouldn't have been able to reach this point without your endless support and training, you are truly appreciated!
I know what they say, if you can make one sale, you can get more. So hopefully this is what will happen for me, and this wasn't just a lucky dip. I do think this was very lucky for the amount spend though and I don't expect this to be an average amount spend in the niche I am in(I don't complain though).
If I can do it, you can too!
When I started at WA, I didn't know anything about affiliate marketing, and I still see myself as a newbie with many things to learn. I am very nontechnical, and I have to practice so much more to improve my writing skills.
If I can do it, you can do it, don't give up. As long as you don't give up, you can't fail, keep learning and improving your skills.
Thank you WA family, I appreciate you all, and I am so excited for the journey ahead, my first sale gives me a boost of energy to continue my journey on to reach for my next goals.

Jude, I'm so happy you made your first sale and a huge congratulations! I know how much you've worked and how committed you've been. It's incredible when you can look back at all the seemingly small successes and victories you've achieved and how they add up to something so significant... that you created. You should be extremely proud, you deserve it :-)
Thank you do much Jay, you are an important person in the journey and I feel so lucky you got my back. You definitely deserve credits in reaching this milestone.
I am very excited to do it all over again, I have a taste for more now lol.
Have a great weekend.

Congratulation to you and your hard work. I give myself another six months to get first sale because I just figure how to put my affiliate link into the product link. It is an encouraging news to hear members get sale from their website. Thanks for sharing good news to me.
Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. I wish you great success and hope you will get your first sale soon as well. Let's do it.

Yes. Pray for me. I will stay away myself from Jay's training. But I will silently learn from his video teaching.
yes, his training is very helpfull. I wish you great success, don't loose hope.
Have a great weekend.

Congratulations! There's nothing like your first sale - you'll remember it forever!
But I do like your response about "what do I need to do to make this happen?" Your first thought was quality content. That is so right on target! While quantity may have a page rank - briefly - it's quality that makes people decide to buy, and to buy from you.
You're off to an excellent start, and I'm confident you'll keep doing great things!
Thank you so much for stopping by and your valuable comment, I appreciate it a lot.
I am excited for the journey ahead and will keep pushing forwards to my next goal.
Have a great day and thanks again Jeannine for your kind words and support, it means a lot.

Jude,
That is great, inspiring and frustrating news. Makes me feel like my almost 2 years of content creating and learning isn't paying off and starts to form self doubts. I've checked my different affiliate platforms often and just haven't made a sale or conversion.
I'm seeing plenty of impressions and clicks, raw and unique etc, I'm following the training (level 3) and have produced something I never thought I would but there's no "affiliate action." Wish I knew where I was going wrong.
Hi, I feel you. I can imagine that is frustrating. Are you still working your way through the training?
Do you have a sponsor who could give you some feedback or direction?
I really hope you can turn a corner and you can get that first sale. What niche are you in?
Best wishes.
Jude
It has it's days where I lose drive and motivation as it feels like I'm flogging a dead horse, even though I enjoy the creative journey of my posts, just writing, playing with Photoshop and doing something constructive. I won't give up but I do wish I could get some support from a coach or sponsor in order to teach me what I should be looking at and taking action on.
My chosen niche is indoor gaming, which is my passion. This encompasses video games, board games, card games etc. The site does have scope to diversify as I wanted it to when I first thought about it and can go into construction kits, models, party entertainment, home theatre and movies, arts and crafts to name a few.
After taking multiple advice from the community I've narrowed my niche to just indoor gaming.
Ok, I see, have you reached out to your sponsor? Do you know who your sponsor is? I totally get it that you lose motivation after such a long time and not getting any sales.
I have a small network of people who are really helpful to brainstorm with when I get stuck, I honestly wouldn't have been where I am without them.
I hope you can get some helpful advice and turn a corner.
Jude
That's a great niche, actually. I'm into indoor gaming myself. Go to Reddit and see the kinds of games people are talking about. You'll get tons of content ideas. Cheers!
I'm unsure what you mean by a sponsor. A sponsor hasn't been given, I've not got a sponsor and have only been following the WA training as we all have.
I am sorry, I meant the person who reffered you to WA.
He or she may be able to give you some valid feedback. If you go to help centre you can see your special coaches you can reach out for help to them
I hope this help.
Jude
I wasn't referred to Wealthy Affiliate. I found out about it myself and signed up in 2018. I didn't use an affiliate link or sponsor. Cheers for the insights and help though.
I see, in this case, Kyle should be your mentor I think, you could always go to help centre and check out your opinions.
I hope you can turn a turner soon—best of luck.
