Leverage the Support of the WA Community!!
Hello fellow WA’ers!
My name is Jeff and I just finished the Level 2 Certification Course. I want to start off by saying thanks to Kyle and Carson for creating an awesome website such as WA. I also want to thank the Community
here. Without the comments, blogs, and support I would still be spinning my wheels.
You see, I am now entering my second month as a Premium Member of WA. You would think I would be a bit farther along than I am, as I only just finished Level 2 training and launched my website on 18 November. But I decided I would go my own way. I leveraged the training from WA, but not the support of
the community.
When I had trouble finding a niche, I just went at it on my own. This resulted in a few false start websites that were either too broad or not aspects I was really interested in. Not to mention owning a few domains
that I am not using.
Then came the building of my site and learning Wordpress. Hey, I was a newb to all of this affiliate marketing and website building so when I got stuck, I Googled answers or again went at it on my own, learning by
trial and error.
This repetitiveness kept me in neutral and I began feeling like this may not be for me. Questions of my ability to be successful, questions of if I could do this, questions, questions, questions.
This past Monday (2 December 13 to be exact) I was once again feeling like I needed to change my niche. I then received an email that a member was leaving WA as he had not been able to make any money and had to return to work. Then I started to feel like I may not be able to do this at all.
Strangely enough, later that day, I received an email that a blog had been posted by Steve (I’ve Tried That), and as I joined WA through his site, I decided to give it a read.
Talk about the light bulb turning on!!! Wow! That was what I needed at the exact time I needed it. That day I was in Course 2 of Level 2 training and had a site that had gone stale. Three days later http://tabletsgamesandapps.com is launched and ready to go, I’ve written and published two posts (here they are if you are interested or would to like to read them http://tabletsgamesandapps.com/tired-of-bias-tablet-pc-reviews and http://tabletsgamesandapps.com/the-7-inch-tablet), I’ve finished Certification Course Level 2, I’ve asked questions of the community and answered questions in the community, while I have not yet made a sale I have made $1.72 on AdSense in the last two days (and am very proud and ecstatic of that), and I’ve seen my Tablet Review Bias Article on page three of Google.
You see, what Steve’s post (Thanks again Steve) did was remind me of all of the amazing people in this community who are willing to take of their own time and help you out. This is what makes WA different and special. If I’ve been able to accomplish all of this over three days, anybody out there can.
Use the support that is right here and readily available to you. Don’t make my mistake and try to go it alone, not when there are so many who can help. Just my two cents.
Use the comments below to send a shout out to those who have helped you and to the WA Community.
Thanks again everybody.
-Jeff

Jeff, I visited your site and I think it is going to be outstanding! I loved it. Sure, it needs a little work, but already I can see that you have what it takes to make this work.
We all have our ups and downs. It's called "growing pains" when learning and trying to master something new can be so frustrating. I spent two hours trying to fix a glitch on my site the other day, and was about to come and holler here at WA to see if anyone could help, but I had one last thing to try, and it worked!
What did I have to do to fix my problem? I had to reset the settings in one of my plugins to "default", and voila, everything was back to normal. Sometimes fiddling too much with settings to change them from the default can get you in trouble.
Glad you read Steve's post in time to change your thinking. As they say, when the student is ready, the teacher appears..lol ~ Jude
I love the fact that you are sharing your journey. I am at work so blogs are blocked so I cant get to your site, but I will follow up when I get home. It is also cool that you are recognizing the people that have helped you in your journey. Keep moving forward!!

I took note of the video an put it on my to do list, but with the time I have available I am making slow progress. I have however installed google authorship, analytics and webmaster tool and I find my site on page one now, which I still cannot quite believe!
I think I will take another 6 months to make a dent into the knowledge that i still have to acquire in order to get somewhere!
