Not Enough Hours In A Day
So, my husband's children do not live with us. We just had them for two full weeks. Boy, with 3 kids running around it is hard to get stuff done. Of course the kids help with the house work and they even helped with the yard work. But no matter how many hands that are helping there just is not enough hours in a day.
I think that maybe in the past two weeks I've worked for about 5 hours total. I love working on the website and doing the training here at WA. But, since we only have the kids part-time in the summer and every other weekend during school, I figured spending time with the munchkins was more important.
After art projects, playing games, taking walks, playing in the rain, and so many other activities, I thought that I'd be able to get work done. Nope, not at all. By the time it was dark outside and time for bed, I think that I was more beat than the kids.
Not enough hours, not enough energy. But here's hoping that I can get back on schedule with the website and training.... until the kids come back.....

Kids can take a lot out of you! I have four and we homeschool three of them, so there are no real breaks. I imagine it is harder when you don't have them all the time, though, since it's harder to establish a routine. Glad you got to spend time with them.

It is hard to have a routine while the kids are with us. We try to spend as much family time with them as possible and do fun things!
