When you hit the wall
Everyone, at some point, "hits the wall" when trying to make decisions. It gets worse the higher your stress level climbs. The longer it takes to solve the problem, the more frustrating it becomes; so begins the vicious cycle. The first resolution to problem is learning to relaxing not just the body but the mind.
This technique is one I studied and used with patients to enable them to better cope with their pain. It was a success not only for them but something that I have incorporated into my life of a regular basis. The technique is a two-step program consisting of Progressive Relaxation and Autogenic Training.
The Progressive Relaxation is learning to relax the body from head to toe while the Autogenic Training relaxes the mind, much like biofeedback without a machine. At one time you could purchase a similar program on tape. If you are interested and want more information you can contact me and I will try to help you.

Thank you Jude for sharing this. Stress indeed is one of the hazards of modern life and truthfully, nobody should settle or tolerate it especially for long periods of time. That's a wonderful gift you have there.
