Covid on the rise!
Hey there Wealthy Affilate folks! I just wanted to pass on some vital information about COVID-19 before I have to run out.
Don't let anyone tell you that COVID-19 is going away! It's not. In fact the number of cases are on the rise in many states around the nation and in Europe and maybe even in the part of the world where you live.
Please don't be complacent!
Just as an example, the county in which I live in has a total number of Covid cases as 16,210 and 993 deaths as of yesterday morning October 21st. 51 new cases.
The town in which I live has the second largest number of Covid cases in the county with 2492. That is up from 2485 cases yesterday. Our town alone has had 170 deaths of the total 993 for the county.
Today, I will go for a second COVID-19 test. Not just because I am a high risk candidate but it is required by my physician and the state in order for me to have a colonoscopy performed next week. A procedure which will go in search of colon or rectal cancer, which I previously had.
Protect yourselves, wear masks, follow all the directed guidelines and be safe!
~~ Barbara

Yeow, I just read those numbers to my husband. Here in New Mexico, we have been very lucky until lately when the numbers started rising due to that very complacency. But still the entire state has numbers that are only a bit higher than your county.
I stay home most of the time as I've had some infections this year, and my husband is glad to do the shopping.
That's great that your husband will do the shopping. Most people here, shop from home for groceries and accessories, so they don't need to go out.
You are absolutely right Barbara. Here in Chile masks have been obligatory for a long time and whilst cases are slowly dropping, this might be due to the weather improving, combined with generally good discipline by members of the public.
I had an Uncle in a care home in the UK die in the early stages of the disease.
This is not a dress rehersal, this is a serious disease and we should all take it seriously to help others not catch it, by always wearing a mask,
Even on the seafront, with a strong sea breeze most people wear masks which I think is admirable.
Keep safe. btw the product I promote helps, combined with Vitamin D to reduce the impact & of course I get plenty of vitamin D every day when I exercise along the seafront here.
Best Wishes,
Trevor
Hi Barbara,
It's very sad that we have to live with the perspective that COVID-19 will stay. I believe that we can make it controllable. Especially when in the near future vaccins and medicine will be available to cure and prevent the decease. But right now we can fight by the way we take precautions.
I live on an island with a population of about 150.000. Our borders are open to about 50 countries and regions.
And even though not every person respects the government restrictions, our COVID-19 results are I think the best in the world.
As of 10-20-2020
Tested 10.764
Positive 759
Cured 466
Active 292
Hospitalized 4 (2 in IC)
Death 1
The person who died was the one that brought the virus to Curacao. He was a heart patient and died of a heart attack because of COVID-19
I believe that if we all respect the restrictions, we can overcome this pandemic.
Kind regards,
Hanco.
Yeah, New York and New Jersey both have had a lot of deaths. But honestly, Covid will never go away. This is actually quite normal in these situations for the number of cases to rise. But are the number hospitalized or dying also increasing? I know where I live, we've had days without a single death in the entire state. Our hospitalization rate is barely above 20% of capacity. I also remember that the CDC stated that in their survey of folks who had tested positive for Covid, 85% had worn their masks always or almost always. They give a false sense of security.
I'm glad you're taking good care of yourself since you are high-risk. That's the key, as even the CDC has said that on average most who succumb have 2.5 other conditions. You're doing it right for sure!
Thank you Jeannine for sharing this information. We have been living with this situation for so long that many people are being too complacent about it.
The official name is Covid Burnout. They've seen that masks don't really make a difference, that most people without other conditions die with Covid rather than from it, etc.
I'm so glad that my county is open. As long as I stay in my county, life is normal.
I'm in Douglas County in Colorado. We're just south of Denver. It's wonderful here. C'mon out!

Hi Barbara, please be advised that writing about covid falls in the political category, which is against WA's rules. (Kyle confirmed, and did say that this should be done on other platforms and even deleted the other post because there was some clashing in the comments). Add to that, WAers' tendency to pick up the same "hot" topic and blog about it all at once, like some sort of chain reaction.
