-7- Haven't posted in a while, I've enjoyed writing too much ;
Hello all,
Just wanted to post a blog today after what feels like weeks of writing content. I'm up to 40 pages. All of which are over 1000 words and I feel as though I'm not making much of a dent.
It seems my traffic has really tapered down. I decided to go with the Jaaxy Pro account to get the keyword edge and I've been using extremely low traffic keyword phrases as well as a few with a bit more competition.
I suppose I'm here to ask a favor though. I'm looking for a little advice on why I haven't seen much traffic yet. Most of my solid pages have been indexed and a few of my keywords are on the first page of Google.
I may be getting a little ahead of myself but if anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated. I'm just over one month starting though, feel free to be as harsh as you need to be. I can take the heat, just eagerly awaiting the traffic I know is coming.
If you feel so inclined to leave a comment, I'll gladly return the favor. Also any +1's on Google+ would be awesome!!!
Thanks in advance :)

I think traffic coming and going a few months, I have had lots of traffic to two specific items but no more. My point I take it easy. and I will continue to write articles.
My point you never know which one is good and leads many readers. In addition to it the more I write the longer will my articles. I have heard about 300 post whit 1000 words then you have a strong blog
Yeah I was actually wondering about that "site health" bar and how often it moves. It's funny how you slowly see it climb then it gets to "Pretty good" and doesn't move too much.
Lesson here is too keep on, keeping on! Thanks for the insight :)

Hey Jordan,
It's great youre excited. But you're going to burn out at this rate. And again this Is a long term commitment from Google standpoint. They want to see if you'll be writing content regularly for many months to come not just a few short weeks because anyone can do that and then disappear.
The fact you're getting some traffic shows progress and it will grow in time as long as you stay consistent and on a sustainable schedule.
Interactions on your content is important too. If you're not getting any comments and people just leave quickly Google won't reward you with higher rankings. So you should address some of the things others have mentioned. Just banging out tons of articles that people aren't interacting with isn't enough. It's better to build less and have people really engaged. I hope this helps.
Thanks Eddy,
I'll keep on writing and making this work. I'm not going to give up though. Can't quit now man.
I'll work on the content quality as well. Lot's to do!
Thanks as always man

Yeah, I actually noticed that. I'm currently using a tower with a monitor as a 42" tv so I sometimes don't think of how it will look on a regular computer.
Thanks again

Hi Jordan! I visited your site and it is looking great! I agree with maryjo, be careful not to over do it and clutter things up. I know you are very fired up, just be patient! (That's probably the most difficult part for all of us...myself included!) Left you a comment! All the best!

Thanks man! I agree though.. I was just saying to the comment above, I've been writing on a larger TV so there's really nothing but room.. Then I check on a laptop and it looks a lot different.
Thanks for the support!

I don't know if this has anything to do with the traffic, but just going to look at the site, a couple of things stand out to me. The first is that the front page looks too cluttered. I think Your writing is excellent and ishould be showcased. The graphic at the top of the Cut and Paste page is cut off and looks like you didn't know how to put it in properly. The lettering in the body also seems too light. I know it darkens if you mouse over, but even then it' seems light.
This might explain a high bounce rate, but it doesn't tell why the eyeballs aren't getting there in the first place. Maybe the keywords you're using have such low monthly searches (50 to 100?) so it will take a while for them to add up. Hopefully someone with a lot more knowledge and experience can give you a better answer.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
Since you've been helping me out you have really made a difference. It means a lot and I'm definitely going to fix a few things in the next couple days here.
I'm thinking you're right about the keywords too. I was targeting pretty low competition so that would explain why I haven't seen much traffic. I'm sure it's on it's way. Even if it's a few months down the road :)
Thanks as always! It means a lot to have such AWESOME support!

I'm trying to work on my description also today as I am still getting myself sorted :)

You will definitely get better results if your site has an awesome description.
Maybe this might help with your brainstorming...
Example description 1 - App that allows other people to make their own apps.
Example description 2 - Start your own business today by building and developing brand new and innovative apps with this app maker.
Here is what your site description looks like from google.
Awesome! That's a cool source I haven't quite got around to using.
I'll definitely be changing the description as well. Thanks for the advice!
