Yeah, you are right to not worry too much about the ranking...Better to focus your energy and effort on the website and getting content published that will pull in traffic...

This way you can monetize the work you are putting in. The ranking here is fine and denotes the activity you have internal to this platform, but there is no monetary benefit.

Having said that, there is a lot of value that you will get from reading and learning about what others are doing, experiencing, and suggesting here...

Commenting, helping when possible, and offering your own ideas is what makes this such a great community, and it adds unique value to the platform (YOUR value)...

So I would say just let it flow naturally, and whatever your rank is here, it is okay. This is how I look at it...

It is normal, but slows down as your ranking climbs...based on yours and others activities of course.
