What is your secret ?
Everybody has some little secret about making things work for them. It might come purely by 'accident' and become a habit, and since that discovery, life seems to be so much better.
It might be a religious/spiritual practice. It might a physical activity that you enjoy. It might be a habit of keeping in touch with a set of friends. It might be a mantra such as "All is well" or other. It might be the way people are drawn to you. It might be your ability to explain things. It might be your patience. It comes from a conviction, a belief, a knowing and constantly affirming it aloud or to yourself.
Think of a time when things changed for the better and identify what sentence you might have started saying to yourself. Everyone has their own little secret. What works for Jim or Ana might not work for you.
I found it worth the time to stop, contemplate and identify my little secret. Knowing what it was, made a lot of difference in my life. I can use it anytime.
What do you think is your secret?

Joy, I'm pretty sure my "secret" is my amazing wife...
She doesn't share much of herself to most everyone we know, but I get to see just how wonderful she is, up close and personal! She has a way of looking at things, reacting to events that I have never encountered anywhere else. She can remove herself and her own ego from most any interpersonal experience — I don't think I know anyone else quite like that!
Thanks for your post, and your question — it made me think!
Tim
...and don't I know it!
I try to tell her that most days, but of course she doesn't want to hear it!
