Progress? Heck yes!
The starting line
Just checking in to say hiiii! I've been with WA for 6 months now and am at the end of Level 2. OK, you're probably wondering why has she taken that long to get to the end of Level 2? Honestly, I had no idea what I got myself into when I signed up. I just knew, I needed a change. Little did I know that we would quickly head into full quarantine (March) in Spain, and that I would need to take over the education of my little girl as well as work at my regular job. Funny how things work out that way. But hey, It led me to some serious soul-searching and I realized how much I hated my job. So I finally made that decision to leave in June. In the middle of a pandemic, is she cray-cray, you ask? A little, but everything has a start, and mine happened to be Covid-19!
The first leap
Admittedly, it took some time to get my s*** together and get typing. I felt like I needed a GREAT topic to begin with before even starting. I'm grateful for some of the posts right here on WA about getting started and not being hung up on the details. So after a little brain-storming with me, myself and I, we decided on the theme of self-improvement for women over 40.
I'll be totally honest with you - I am no fashion expert nor am I in any way an accomplished life coach. But I do have the knowledge gained throughout my career these 20 odd years as well as a boat load of advice I'm happy to offer. Although there's no sale or financial successes at this point, just getting to this level of writing again feels so empowering! And I'm so ready to take on the next phase.
The sprint and the marathon
The focus for the next 3 months will be to finish up all the levels in WA and even start networking outside of WA. Each month will be reviewed to ensure I'm working with the timeline created. The idea is to be working with another friend at the end of the next 6 months and to create more ideas and avenues (IE.podcasts) to be seen and heard. Saying that, be I'm aware that there will be times that this will be a very slow process, but there will be times when it'll be lightning speed!
