The formula is simple on paper but takes vision and consistent effort to achieve. All this effort we put in now can and will create success in the future!
Below is a formula for creating success.
Find Your Passion
You simply must build a business around what you love. Your core niche is something you will spend countless hours researching, writing content, and living in. If you are passionate about your niche you will be more motivated to stick with it for the long haul and creating content will come much easier as the research will be enjoyable!
Work Harder Than Others
Business is not a joke, its hard work! Putting in hours building the content and framework IS the core of your business and will likely not show any immediate financial results. You are not in this for the easy road, you are working your butt off for future financial gain!. Traffic will grow as your business does and affiliate sales will grow with traffic. Dedicate time to doing the work, and completing your tasks!
Strive for Greatness
Successful people aim for greatness. They do not roll out of bed just to exist and maybe get around to getting something done! They DO it and push to be the best at what they do! Have confidence in yourself, Believe in yourself, and just be Awesome at what you do!
Focus on Tasks
Successful people are laser focused on the result and have a vision for where they want to be. Break down your vision into broader activities, break those down into bite sized very specific tasks that you can complete in 20 minutes or less. Focus time every day with no distractions to knock out several of those 20 minute tasks! No distractions, No interruptions. Completing the pieces are baby steps that lead to achieving your primary vision! The Pomodoro Technique is very popular for just this type of focused task completion.
Push Your Limits
You need to discover what is holding you back from being the best that you can be. It sounds simple but everyone has mental limits on what they believe they can achieve when in fact there is NO limit!
Are you afraid to start, why?
Do you dread creating the 5th or 10th site in your collection?
Does video or live webinars intimidate you?
Are you nervous people will discover your real name?
You must analyze this and push through anything that is holding you back in any stage of your business. Overcome your fears and just get out there! Any one of us could be the next Jeff Besos who started a garage bookstore only 25 years ago.
Serve Others
Create a business and a brand that is focused on solving problems, answering questions, helping others get what they want and need! This focus will create tremendous value for your customers, clients, readers and followers and they will respect you for it, this creates a strong reputation that drives more buyers to your primary offers. Serving your customers should be the core focus of your business. Always deliver quality content!
Create Content
Content is King for a reason! Great content and good SEO will drive traffic to your site(s). You simply must focus on always adding new content as it is the most valuable asset of your business! The best way to do this and guarantee authentic unique readable content is to write it yourself! Invest time in developing your writing skills before buying content. The ability to come up with new topics, headlines, posts, will be directly influenced by the first thing in this list. You must be PATIONATE about your core niche! there is no way around this unless you intend to outsource content and that is your plan. I am not a professional writer, and could not just research and write on a random topic every day so I only write about things that are of great interest to me personally.
Persistence
Do not let a day pass without doing some small thing in pursuit of your dreams! With the passion for your niche, be persistent and over time you WILL create success!. There will be pitfalls along the way, mental roadblocks, distractions, life circumstances, etc. Know that you can overcome anything! Lean from your mistakes and keep moving forward! Be Persistent in following your dreams!
This is the Formula for Success:
Be passionate about your business. Work damn hard. Be Great at what you do. Laser Focused on your goals. Realize you have NO Limits. Always serve others. Create Content with incredible value. Be Persistant and stay on course in the pursuit of Creating Success!
Success means different things to different people. To me, success is not about wealth, recognition, popularity, a million followers, etc. It's not about a big house and fast expensive cars.
My definition: Success is becoming financially independent and having the freedom to explore this amazing world without being tied down to job.

Thanks for the insight Josh. I'm a complete newbie and don't have a site up and running yet but that will happen in the coming week. I'm trying to soak up wisdom and experience like a sponge and posts like this are great for helpng me shape my plans. For me success would be breaking free from the rat race so that I can get on with enjoying life - something we're all striving for I guess.

Thanks for sharing. I talk a lot about success within my website. So success to me means being happy, loving life, and being your true authentic self. When one can just learn to live then everything else will fall into place. However success does take work and doesn’t happen just over night . Just like you said it takes so much work, persistence, passion and so much more. When we can understand that then everything will fall into place. Thanks for the article.

Agree that part of building an online business is so misunderstood by most people. Identify the 1 activity that will produce the largest future result and focus on that 1 thing more than anything else. For affiliate marketing that one thing is content!
