Hello WA!

I've been relatively quiet on my end for the last few months. Just been working on my various affiliate campaigns and getting them all ready for the Christmas season. Needless to say, I haven't had much time to interact with all of you in a while.

However, the other day I began writing an article for my new IM blog (you can check it out at joesaffiliatemarketingguide.com if you're interested in seeing an IM blog in its infancy), and it started to turn into something much bigger: a whole training resource. At first I wasn't sure what to do with something so big (make it an eBook, an newsletter series, etc.) but I ultimately decided I would throw it up in the WA training section.

It's called "How To Write A KILLER Product Review" and it will give you an in-depth look at how to write a great product review meant to generate sales. Right now is the best time to write product reviews, as it's heading into the Christmas season - a time when people are looking for products to buy.

If you're looking for some pointers on making the most out of your product reviews, than check out my new training resource.

Hi Joe

Your website looks good. I really the the customized header.

One thing you may want to consider is adding a contact form on your contact page. With your email address on your site as a clickable link it can easily be harvested and before you know it your email inbox is full of spam mail.

You can Google Wordpress plugins contact forms. One of my favorites is http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/si-contact-form.

Keep up the great work on your site.

Terri

Thanks a lot for the reminder! I actually had meant to do that just the other day before I published my first blog post, but forgot. I'll be sure to do that ASAP.

aloha ~ glad to find you, Joe. I read your blog and enjoyed its content, and your thought process. It will be fun to follow your free IM course. I have found a number of WA members whose way of thinking and writing makes great sense to me, and I am delighted to add you to this short-list.

One detail: In the second paragraph of this post, you misspelled the link to your URL, so it didn't work. I entered the correct spelling manually , and of course that worked---glad I took the extra step. Funny thing, it reminded me of what some people do----buy the URL of the most common misspellings as well as the correct one, and then redirect.

Thanks for stopping by! Yea, I tend to have a bit of a hybrid IM marketing style. I have always used WA as a foundation but have picked up some other strategies from other courses and my own experiences that have worked very well for me in the past year. I look forward to sharing some of these strategies both on WA and my blog I just launched.

Thanks for pointing out the corrections. And yes, people are always looking into capitalizing off of common mispellings. E.g. how many people have gone to goggle.com by mistake, only to be presented with an ad. The owners of that domain probably make a killing.

I will be checking this out, thanks!
