2nd Article That Hits The 1st Page On Google
My website has its 2nd article to reach the first page on Google. It might be at the bottom, and it can fluctuate from the 2nd page to the 1st, but it's still there! In about a year at WA, I've gotten two articles on the 1st page from about 110. It seems like a lot, and not a good ratio (because it isn't) but it's a process.
I've learned so much from those 110 articles that I can now use to get more aritcles to appear on the 1st page. I'm actually kind of excited for year 2 at WA, let's see how we do!

Brilliant, nice work. One thing that you will find starts to happen as your website gains authority, is that ALL of your content that you have created will start to move up the ranks.
Just because a page/post on your website doesn't rank instantly, doesn't mean that it won't. That is the beauty of "numbers", you have 110 articles that could potentially be working for you for many years to come, attaining rankings an generating revenue.
