Creating good and consistent content
Time and time again you've been asked to select a niche for which you have a passion. Most people think that nobody else would share their same interests. Let me tell you are wrong if you think nobody else shares your passion for any given topic. Just like your teacher at school used to say there are no "silly" questions, there is no content for which others will be unable to connect.
Select a niche you have passion for
The reason why selecting a niche that you hold an interest for is so important continues to be that YOU MUST continue to provide content about that niche. The more expertise you show about that niche; the more likely you are to be indexed by google. Remember, your target is to get indexed within the first page of google. The formula for achieving this goal equates to Niche Site + content + content + content = (indexed as an authority).
Not all content is created equal
When you select a niche you have passion for, it is easier to have passion to write continuous content about your niche. The more you write about your niche, the better ranking you will achieve. Not all content is created equal. The following 6 criteria must be present for any "good" quality content:
- Be engaging
- Be educational
- Provide meaningful information
- Share your experience/business practice
- Share you enthusiasm
- Encourage comments
Let's discuss each in more details
Be engaging: another way to call engagement would be interactive. The more interactive and attractive you site is the more people would stay at the site. It is more likely that a person visiting your site will be more engaged if you have an attractive or catchy header. Another idea would be having a video that further explains the importance of your niche or topic. Actively request interaction with your visitors by having important links, photos, and most importantly your experiences. Make sure your niche is properly represented throughout the information you are sharing. Let your visitors know why this niche is important to you and why it will be important to your visitors.
Be educational: provide your site visitors with educational information about the niche. Think that if even one visitor to your page does not know about your niche, you might be the one person to convert them to hold the same level of interest about the niche as you do. Share with them the real value of your niche and how they can obtain the same level of enjoyment as you get from this niche.
Provide meaningful information: provide your site visitors with additional particulars about your niche. Why you find value about the niche? and how they can also obtain the same value from the niche as you? The educational information you provide should link your site visitors to the meaningful information you will follow up with. Remember, this would represent the visitors first impression about your niche. You have certainly heard people say that "there are no second chances to make a first impression." The meaningful information becomes the link between the idea of the niche and the emotional attachment. This is the point when your conversion starts.
Share your own experiences: many times your site visitors might need a visual of your niche (business). There is no better way to share the satisfaction you receive about your niche than sharing your own business practice. Through sharing your experiences and history, you develop a relationship with your visitor and they are able to feel your success. All of a sudden, you have made your success accessible and possible. Through sharing your experiences, you will connect the idea of your niche to the ultimate result you have achieved and so will they. At this phase, you are letting your site visitors know that you did it and so can they by simply duplicating the process (which has been proven to work).
Share your enthusiasm: this phase is the sealing of the deal. Here you share with them you enthusiasm about your niche/business. Let them know what the reward has brought to you and will bring to them through your niche. Your enthusiasm will become contagious as your niche is your passion. This passion has brought you a significant reward which you are sharing with them. Let them know about your niche/business mission. For example, if your niche is "be your own boss" and you are sharing with them how you became your own boss through Wealthy Affiliate, tell your visitor how this community's (wealthy affiliate) mission is to "pay it forward" through continuous support. Go on to share with your site visitors that you and the community will provide continuous support and education.
Encourage comments: it is important to encourage a dialogue or conversation with your site visitors. Give your site visitors the opportunity to ask questions or clarifications. Expose them exactly to the community's support and attitude through an open dialogue and support. Show your site visitors that you achieved your goals through this process and that you believe your niche is the way to achieve their own goals. Provide your site visitors with a hopeful and encouraging "you can do it too."
Good site content will show the presence of all 6 elements (engagement, education, relevant information, your experiences, your enthusiasm, and your encouragement to establishing communication with your audience). The presence of these elements transmit to your site visitors that you are personally interest on sharing your way to achieving goals and ultimately finding success. The elements previously discussed show your site visitors that you are authentic and that you are interested on them finding their own path to success.
Remember: your site visitors must be presented with the niche/information in order to create an emotional reaction which will lead to a connection between the niche presented, how they would feel, and what they would gain through following the process. Your visitors will appreciate your niche, the information you provided, and your interest about their success.

Thank you so much Dottie for your message. Allow me to let you in to a small secret, at first, writing does not come easy to most of us. As much as I would love to "not have to repeat what my college professors said over and over; I'm going to have to say it. It is true. The more you write, the better you get at writing." Once again, thank you so much. Much success,
Jorge
