My Blog Made a Profit!
I have not posted in 3 months. I just have not had the motivation to make this a priority. I wish that I have been posting regularly because I would be so much further!
I posted for the first time yesterday and felt really good about it. Not 2 hours later I got an email saying I made $1.40 from ad clicks last month. That was exciting! I mean that's like nothing, but it is progress. Only up from here!
I'm struggling to find affiliate programs that align with my zero-waste blog. Commission Factory has a ton but they are an Australian company. For some reason I thought that I couldn't use them because sending things to the US from AU is too costly. However, I have visitors from Serbia, UK, and beyond. Why can't I use affiliates from different countries?! My only concern is getting paid, though. Will AU pay me into my US bank account? Would I set up something like PayPal? How does the money translation work from AU dollars to US dollars? More research on that piece to come.
