Site Content Issue & Solution
It's been about a month since I started building my new website, and I just realized that my first posts weren't linked to my new domain.
Initially, I published content under my SiteRubix domain before purchasing my actual domain name.
Now, when I check my Site Content, I see that some of my earlier posts are linked to the SiteRubix domain, while my more recent ones are linked to my new domain.
What's the Impact?
The impact of this is that I can't check in Wealthy Affiliate whether my first posts are indexed. Additionally, all the links from draft-886961.siterubix.com are broken, so I can't navigate through those pages. While my website, freedomincomestrategies.com, contains all my posts as expected, the Site Content doesn’t accurately reflect this at the moment.
Here Come Site Support
I contacted Site Support, and they suggested that I make copies of the old posts and republish them under my new domain name.
I had to retrieve each post's content from WordPress because many adjustments I made in WordPress were not reflected in Site Content. After publishing each new copy, I had to delete the old posts from both WordPress and Site Content.
I wish I had known this earlier, as it would have prevented me from having to go through all this work, but I hope this information can help others in a similar situation!
Update
I can confirm that it worked, now I see my real count of indexed pages, I'm seeing 13 instead of 2 🎉
