My First Blog! My Life before Entrepreneurship!
The beginning of my life and years after high school weren't super grand nor did I know anything about entrepreneurship until 2016...
my life was super boring and I didn't really care much besides hanging out with friends and doing whatever I wanted. I finished year 12 in 2008 and I just stayed at home all day not doing much except playing games. I found a job in 2010 and got my first paycheck for $500 for 65 hours and at that time I thought I was rich. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case but it kept going on for the next few years.....
I even tried studying and trying to become something! I studied:
- Advanced Diploma in Hospitaliy Management.......Failed.
- Graphics Design in TAFE........Failed..
- Commercial Cookery...Failed...
- V.E.T ( Animal Doctor )....Failed...
One day while watching anime I found a native ad at the time that promised to teach people how to make 1000 dolalrs per day and at the time i wasnt aware of scams or anything like that nor did i even know what online marketing was.....
Sadly it ended up being a scam and I lost money...but mroe opportunities came up and I kept buying and borrowing money and personal loans and even got fast cash through selling my stuff....
I wasnt sure what I wanted nor did I want to do any of those jobs. I was lost and I started borrowing money and got a credit card.
Next part is a shocker......
By end of 2015 after borrowing money and loans I had no money left and was working from 3 AM to 10 PM almost every day at $8 an hour and not only that I had racked up a debt of $130,000 AUD which took out nearly 90% of my paycheck! I even had to walk 1 hour to and from work to save on travel money......
Was this the life I wanted? Should I have studied hard and become a doctor?.... so many thoughts were coming into my mind...
This was me just sitting on my break and thinking if their was anything else out there.
