R.I.S.E. - A Model For Meaningful Feedback
Hello Everyone,
The R.I.S.E. model is a great template for writing critiques that will resonate.
Reflect
Recall, ponder, and communicate with positive reinforcement (your content goes here)
Inquire
Seek out more information and/or provide new ideas (your content goes here)
Suggest
Introduce your ideas for improving their current iteration (your content goes here)
Elevate
Give support and inspire the recipient to reach a higher degree or purpose in their future iterations. (your content goes here)
Be a part of the reason someone becomes a better version of themselves. Your feedback should include some hard truths about the subject matter, but It shouldn't be a personal attack on someone's intelligence.
Be humble - Be kind - Be successful
I wish you the best,
JT

This is terrific. Thanks for a comprehensive way to give critiques.
Focusing on all 4 aspects gives more thorough feedback.
Elevation is usually easy for me. But it takes time to reflect, think of questions to ask to learn more and to make suggestions.
It would be nice to see more of us adopt that approach because like you say it would make us all a better version of ourselves. I try really hard to make suggestions but it is an art so the receiver does not go on the defensive. Many of us are not programmed to receive suggestions well.
I see you also wrote another post "Offering Critiques that Resonate". I am going to reread that again.
Thanks for your posts.
Excellent I love formats for feedback and they are very helpful, I like this a lot! Thanks for sharing, Phil
