Make your content, comments & replies have good grammar.

Last Update: November 19, 2017

Hi, everyone. I know a lot of you are probably using this tool but for those who are not aware of Grammerly this is the time to check it out. I have been using it and it has saved me a lot of time when I am writing post.

For one, it catches my mistakes for me and l gives me an option for the tool to correct it or I can correct it myself. I still go back and proof read my post but it cut my time down a lot.

Another thing is when we get comments we want them to have good grammar also. So all you have to do is go to edit and put the cursor anywhere in the comment line and it will target all errors without you having to proof read it. Another time saver.

I even got commented on how my articles are written well because of the help of Grammerly. Of course, I kept it to myself that I was using a tool on that one. LOL.

Anyway, if you are not using this tool I suggest you give it a try and you will see how it saves you a lot of time writing articles, checking comments and even your replies. Here is the link to them if you need it.

How does it compare with the checker in SiteContent?

That's hard to say overall but the obvious benefit of Grammarly is that it shows suggestions in real-time.

With Site content checking, one has to manually click on the "check Grammar" button (ABC).

Thanks David. I use the SiteContent checker, though I disagree with the results pretty often. Still, it would be nice to have grammar checking in WP. Since I already have 5 plugins, it's not an easy choice...

Grammarly is good though. I installed it last week to test and it works fine. I use it in Chrome and it's installed as an extension so it makes its suggestions across any site I am on.

It is a good tool indeed. I have been using it for about 9 months now. And yes it does give you the extension for chrome and no matter what I am doing it is right there.

I do also. You might catch something from time to time but it really strengthens your grammar.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing. I agree that Grammarly for Google is a great tool. I use it now for all of my posts. There are still things that Grammarly misinterprets, but for the most part, it catches the majority of errors and makes editing much less time-consuming.
