Ezine Articles accepted my first article, now what?
Hey guys and gals. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email today from ezinearticles.com stating that my first submitted article was accepted. I have to say that this brought my spirits up and my will to continue with my website articles.
I have been with WA for 3 months and was starting to doubt myself a bit, wondering if I could really make a go at this.
I was just wondering if I could get some WA family feedback on how to proceed with this new opportunity to reach more people and generate more traffic (hopefully) to my site.
Any past experiences,advice,thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi John,
Publishing to online article sites was once a very powerful action that you could take, however Google does not rank article sites as they once did.
You are much better off to publish your article to your website so that you can begin building your site's reputation with the Search Engines. Your content will rank very quickly if it's thorough, engaging, and helpful to your intended audience right from your own website.
Awesome job on publishing the content here, this is a big first step! I'd suggest the next article goes to your own site though, you'll really benefit from doing so :)

Thanks for your advice. The article that was accepted to Ezine is already ranking pretty high for the keywords #14. Are you saying I shouldn't submit any articles there for now on? Should I remove the article that was accepted?

I had forgotten about EZine. I don't know where or how far you will go with your article writing, but I can tell you that the one single article I submitted to EZine years back was easily found on Google just by typing in a few keywords I had within the article. I was impressed to say the least.
