I loved the training and support from this amazing community, but after a few months of writing about my first niche, I realized I am MORE passionate about Affiliate Marketing. I have had success in Network Marketing but I realize the freedom that can be created by Affilaite Marketing and especially here at Wealthy Affiliate.
I have a young family and want to spend those cherished moments as once they are gone they are lost forever. I have a burning desire to work from home and earn residual income. That led me to Network Marketing a few years ago. I'm about offering value and wanting to genuinely help the person that I’m reaching out to. I have an unwavering product belief that our products will genuinely help people with their health and also finances. But I realized to grow the business more I had to spend more time away from my family - traveling to new markets or spending hours on Social Media.
As I started writing blog posts about how to build the business, I researched content and saw others success both in Network Marketing and in Wealthy Affiliate. I also realized my situation has changed now having a young family, I wanted a vehicle/asset/home business that I could truly create from home AND spend more time with my loved ones. So after 6 months, I realized that helping and providing others the opportunity to also blog about their passions, earn affiliate income AND spend more time with their family is what I wanted to do. This is what I am passionate about and this is why I made the change. I am more passionate about Affilate Marketing now than the other business model.
It was done after great support and encouragement from others, including direct advice from Kyle really helped me.

- better to complete the training (unless you've really lost passion, but need to inject passion and immerse yourself in your niche).
I personally would recommend that you focus on creating ONE successful website, before you move into another.
Yes. So don't change niches lightly and leave your website in a start of mediocrity.

My addition here, is to choose a niche that:
- Allows you to help many people
- That you are passionate about - choosing a passion or interest is that you are already actively engaged in that niche. You're more likely to have your own stories and experiences to share. Then you will completely enjoy building a business within that niche.
- That helps your reader or allows them to achieve their goals and dreams
- That gets you excited to get out of bed in the morning and share about! (Seeing other successful people shows me you'll need to produce 100, 200 or more blogs/content.

Thanks Stuart, I had it in the back of my mind for about a month and researched a lot before changing. Real trigger was gaining passion for Affiliate Marketing over the other business model. So I gained passion as I lost passion.
There is never a straight path to success, this is just another bump in the road there....Hope you find your REAL passion too.

I completely agree. With no passion their is no motivation or drive. The lack of passion in your niche will also show in your content and your audience will notice too. Very good post, John.

Thank you Alex! I realised too you won't even get noticed by your audience if you don't have the passion. There's going to be competition in any niche, so having passion and your burning WHY for doing any home business is what carried you through :-)
