Embaressed As An American

So the other day, last Wednesday was a dark day in the United States. We all have seen protests lately, this in my oppinoin was the worst protest that I have seen in my lifetime. We had American citizins attack our very own capital. Target congress people as well as the vice president. With the intent to do harm, This makes these hooligans domestic terrorists in my book. Including some of the rioters being veterens, who took the same oath that I did. I do not understand how they can go from defending this country, to trying to tear it apart. All because one man was upset that he lost the election. Grow up. I hope that all of you go and read my article that I just posted on loveofspirits.com Maybe you will why I am so outraged over recent events.

Thanks for letting me vent, hope that I do not offend anyone here. I usually stay away from politics. They mostly start an argument. I just thought that this article needed to be done publicly.

I know that it is not my normal topic to write about, I was just angry at the american people. people that I fought to protect for four years in the United States Navy. Then to have veterens participate in a riot of this nature, just made sick to my stomach. In my book, they no longer have the right to wave the American flag. Those veterens that participated in the riot on the capital are now considered enimies of the state. How can one mans angry words cause honorable people to turn on thier own country. This is something that I will never understand.
