After some "productive procrastination" (how's that euphamism for ya?) I finally completed my second post! There are still some other life things that I have to work on, but it feels great to push through and finish that post! Also it said that I have written more than 81% of WA people this month...am I really in that high of a percentile? Well if I am then I feel special :)Here's to carrying on without being negative about missing a deadline from last week!
Hopping onto the live training last night helped me realize a new way to get to work! Now, I am just in the 2nd module and am writing my second post. Slowly learning about wordpress, keywords, etc.But guess what? My inexperience didn't stop me from asking a photographer that I met today if he has a website. (He doesn't) and it didn't stop me from informing him that I am in a training intensive and can let him know as soon as I am ready to build his website for him! He started patting himself do
I had a great time yesterday researching my niche! I hadn't been on a 'key' website for some time because I don't have babies anymore. A lot has changed and there are new products that I didn't know about. The website has an affiliate program that I can sign up for that will give me a 10% profit on sales.Do companies care if you promote their products for sale on multiple platforms? (amazon, walmart, etc.) It didn't say anything about it in their terms. It is just exciting that after all these
You know the drill. You control your thoughts and your actions. You are in charge of your attitude. Sometimes you also NEED to be sad, to mourn loss, to grieve what is no more. I have been on the WA newbie high for a week, and while I am still in awe of finding the community and adore the training and support, today I paused and pondered on why life has to be so difficult sometimes. Have you ever been lied to? Then you know how much it can hurt. There is so much that I have had to learn, and it
I got some more training under my belt today. I completed two website reviews as tasks and it was a lot of fun! One of the sites was just great! Then other one was coming right along. I am wondering how much people want to be corrected on their grammar (as I am a member of the grammar police, lol) so I tried to balance grammar, content, and ease of use. It was great to see what I will soon have, as my site is at the baby stage with only 2 posts. Thanks for reading, make sure to like my post! (S
Watched training, understood keywords, opened template....1000 words??? I am a writer, but after my first attempt of picking subtopics and populating the post minus the conclusion, I was only at 600 words! Man, time to work through it again. Well guess what? I tweaked, added, thought about the training, thought about keywords, and bam! 1033 words and now the post is live! I can't wait to add photos and start finding affiliate links, but I am diligently following the training--in order--so I kno
Today I was invited to go sailing with some great friends. Where I am located it is still in the 90s, so the river breeze (and also taking a dip) was a welcome break from daily life. Now, however, my second "break" from routine includes coming to WA for some training. It is interesting and fun to learn new skills. I just earned my badge for completing level 1, and how have a keyword list of 50 saved for my first niche! Jaxxy rocks! Can't wait to continue in the lessons and get those articles wr
I knew before I even signed up for WA that I would go premium, and will be going yearly at that. The platform is amazing, questions are answered quickly, and I am able to find answers intuitively. The value is amazing--Training is concise, and my first website is live and will (hopefully) be populated soon. I had to stop myself from jumping ahead in the training, and then a helpful member actually posted to me to resist that exact temtation! Amazing. There is so much negativity in the world, an
Currently I am on page 47 of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. This book is amazing! More amazing still is that it was written in 1937. I love learning (or being reminded of) about the many great thinkers, dreamers, and inventors that simply refused to quit! WA has been on my radar for a few months now, but possibly because I began this book I finally decided to sign up. So far I am loving the encouragement from everyone and can't wait to begin the training. So what book are you reading?
