Researching my niche

I had a great time yesterday researching my niche! I hadn't been on a 'key' website for some time because I don't have babies anymore. A lot has changed and there are new products that I didn't know about. The website has an affiliate program that I can sign up for that will give me a 10% profit on sales.
Do companies care if you promote their products for sale on multiple platforms? (amazon, walmart, etc.) It didn't say anything about it in their terms.
It is just exciting that after all these years of saying, I could write that, I cound do that, etc. here I am just weeks/months from making it a reality!
I also want to buy a domain for a personal blog. I have always wanted to have a blog roll and be able to share personal opinions. How many of you have a WA run personal blog? Just wondering!
