Can you have a " day job" and still build an Internet business? The simple answer is yes. Because of my other " job" I travel a lot. I have learned to take advantage of my travels and use them to inspire new content for my web sites.

For example, my day job has me traveling throughout the Caribbean, so it made sense that I create an affiliate site dedicated to Caribbean travel. I'm actually writing this while in a hotel in Santo Domingo .

My day job also has me playing a lot of golf, so of course I created a golf themed website... see the pattern?

The great thing about affiliate marketing is that the world is your office. Whether its a golf course or a hotel pool, affiliate marketing allows you the flexibility to work from anywhere. This flexibility has helped not only balance both careers but create synergy between the two.
