This will let me manipulate the php. Does anyone know why this is? I should be able to do this on any normal hosting platform.
Mine seems to work just fine but, there is a pop-up message warning you to not directly edit the files that WordPress put there in a recent update as a safety measure.

Anyway, if you still can't access yours, you can still access your php and other files via FTP Edit Website Files Via FTP If you have any trouble connecting to FTP, here's another one to look at: Troubleshoot Connecting to FTP at WA Let me know if you get this working Robert!
