I'm back after quitting a year ago - here's the lesson I would like to share

I just wanted to drop a note here to say hi and how happy I am to be back here.
I first joined WA back in December 2018. I went through the Bootcamp and was working on my website for close to a year. It was actually gaining traction as some of my blog posts were ranking pretty well and commissions were starting to roll in (wasn't much, but it was a start).
But then halfway through, something happened which led me to making a huge mistake, and it compounded from there.
I lost my job in mid-2019.
So what happened?
As a result of that, I got desperate and wanted to speed up the process of replacing my income through online marketing. And my blog wasn't making progress fast enough.
I started to look elsewhere and I got caught in the shiny object syndrome. I signed up for a few other courses and started to try out these "faster" methods.
I got into email marketing using paid traffic from native ads and solo ads. That didn't turn out well.
I decided to double down and got into Facebook ads to promote Clickbank products. I got some results there, but then my ad accounts kept getting shut down. Not to mention the huge amount of money you need to invest in the ads to get data to optimise.
The last straw was my Facebook profile getting restricted from advertising altogether. Meaning I can no longer advertise on Facebook, unless I use someone else's profile or create a new one for myself to keep going.
So now I'm back to square one.
The Lesson
Looking back, WA truly has one of the best trainings to help us build a sustainable business. The one thing we need to do is to treat it like a real business. And like all businesses, it takes time and effort.
If you have ever wondered if the grass is greener on the other side, I can confirm that it isn't. There's no "easy" way to make money online. You will either have to invest sufficient time or a lot money.
I had the wrong mindset. If you need an immediate income/cashflow, get a job. You can't force this to turn into a cash cow overnight.
If I have stayed the course, who knows, I may be doing this full time by now. Instead I'm starting over.
But I can tell you that I've come back stronger than ever before, with the right mindset and focus.

You are welcome back. For those that have a challenge, you can use what you have learned or what you are learning here to freelance while working on your business at the same time. It is tough out there.
WA is still one of the best with the site hosting, security, tools, training , and webinars. You have many options to make it here.. . .

Welcome back. There is no need be eating up yourself. I'm sure that you learned your life lesson.
We are still here and you've been missed. Here's another opportunity to make more money this second chance around.
Life lessons are there to guide us and assist to the right pathway in the future.
Now that you're older and wiser, you can use your new wisdom to teach us that are new to this platform.
