One summer I worked for a roofing contractor in Connecticut. There were just the 2 of us and this was in a city with many triple deckers. My job was to haul 77 pound bundles of asphalt shingles up a single run ladder 3-1/2 stories up in 90 degree heat. What a job! Excellent Post Joe.

Some folks find out it takes a heap of work to make this thing sing, and they just don't want to be bothered...to some of them, it probably feels too much like school.

I'm also curious how many problems people have who are not fron English-speaking countries. Are all our posts translated for them into their language? They could have a real challenge.

Good encouragement. I beat my brains into 300 plus posts on a blog in three years working blindly because my provider only partially shared my traffic numbers with me and had no help for keywords available. Last year without realizing that I was getting 500 plus visitors per month and growing I got discouraged and stopped writing there. I have 1,000 plus followers there. No longer am I working in the dark, here or there. I am getting this due to the training. Thank you Kyle, Carson and the many other helpers and teachers here.

Like the old saying goes " When the student is ready, the teacher will appear..."

To me, that means you can't teach anyone anything until they are ready to learn - nor can you help anyone no matter how much you might like to help them, until and unless they are ready to accept help.

Even then it all comes back to personal action, accountability, and responsibility.
