Jodi, you should be excited upgrading to Premium. Just imagine when your new life starts to unfold right before you. A very wise decision on your part. You have that smile of success. Welcome to WA, congratulations and God bless you!

Thank you!!

Thank you!

Sounds like you're on the right track, Jodi! :) Best of luck to you here.

I have some beginner tips for you, to help you avoid many pitfalls that newbies (myself included) tend to fall into.

1. I recommend avoiding ads. Don't use them. They give your website a cheap feeling, and unless you get a ton of traffic, you're effectively throwing away potential sales/conversions for pennies. Not worth it. Later on, when you have a wider viewership, you can decide whether or not you want to add them in, but they are not necessary.

2. Go for a simple, clean theme and layout. While fancy, cool looking themes have their place in the world of affiliate marketing, I find that my visitors prefer to have all the information and details they need right there in front of them - without having to scroll around fancy parallax website layouts.

3. Pick a BRANDABLE domain name, not one that uses keywords. For instance, if I'm writing about travelling, I'd consider something like "TheTravelGuy" or "LaptopAdventurer" or something (Better) as opposed to "howtotravelcheaptoday".

4. Write as often as you possibly can, but focus on quality and tone in your articles. Just a few articles a month really isn't going to do much for you, but if you can write at least 3 or 4 1200 word articles a week, you are in excellent shape.

5. Focus on being personable and fun in your articles (At least, if that's the tone you're going for). Decide who you want your target audience to be, and cater to them. Is your target audience someone like yourself? Good, what do you look for in a product review? Do you want someone who is playful and funny, or a little more serious? What kind of information do you need to make a purchase?

6. Unless you are already ESTABLISHED on social media, do NOT worry about it too much. I know the training tells you to, but ignore that - I have a good blog post about this here: Too many newbies spend a lot of time on social media when they could be spending it on writing content for their website.

I hope thsi helped, Jodi, and again - Good luck!

Thank you for the advice! I decided to go through the Affiliate bootcamp and created my domain as realonlinejobopportunities.com.
Now, off to do more learning!
