Proud To Be Part of the Community
Hi everybody,
I’m (still) going through training, enjoying everyone’s posts, especially those of you who offer motivation, and the ones where you talk about everyday trials working through the program…priceless! When I hear that other people struggle a bit, it makes me feel less stressed if I run into a snag. I figure if you guys can figure it out, then so can I!
I have my website up, my niche is all natural lotions since I’m into finding the best products that do not include harmful ingredients. I have found a couple of affiliate programs I can work with and signed up, I just have to figure out a few details before I post any links to them (and I want to wait until I get to that part of training).
Every time I open up my web page, I smile…can’t believe she’s mine. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far. My posts are not perfect, but I think they sound genuine and I know that is important. My goal over the next few months is to finish training and crank out as many posts as I can. If I make any money…bonus! I am more concerned about getting through basic training, learning the lingo of the business, the slow build of my website, and more and more training.
It’s been a great journey so far, not perfect (nothing is), but the support of the community is what makes this whole experience stand far above any other program out there. Thank you, all of you, for the help you have provided, so glad to be here with you.
Joan

Does it work out?
If you mean “how’s it going?”, then I’ll be honest and say s-l-o-w. But I’m okay with that. I look at my time with WA as a class I’m taking on the side while working a very demanding (stressful) full time job. I don’t expect to make any money for a long time. I have to give my energy to my job and home life. So while it’s tempting to get wrapped up in the hype of working crazy hours on WA like a lot of others, I also know that would cause me to crash and burn. I’m a tortoise (not the hare) that plans to win the race over time. My long term goal is to have a healthy website or two by the time I retire in about 6 years. Not very wild, crazy, or ambitious, but it is MY goal, after all. ;-)
Very wise
Small steps
