Google search engine versus Bing search engine
My website is about 'Understanding Horses.' Weeks ago, as I was beginning as a newbie, I noted on my Home page that I was going to write a blog about the time in 1958 that I rode Snowman (the horse in the movie on Netflix and in a somewhat bestselling book on Amazon). I have not written the blog yet (learning Kyle's lessons takes me a lot of time!). My website, www.horseswithJoan.com, is very much still a work-in-progress and definitely needs more work. Google has it ranked around page 12 or so if I search 'understanding horses.'
Today I decided to search both Bing and Google under the keywords 'I rode Snowman.' Bing caught those few words on my page (no blog yet) and ranked me #3 on page #1. That's incredible! Google ranked me last on page #8.
Now that I'm over my newbie shock, I think I'd better write that blog!

Bing Webmaster tools training is in Kyle's teaching lessons, I think. It may be in the same lesson as Google Webmaster tools. I skipped it and only did the Google part. Going to go back and get Bing Webmaster tools going now. There is a place in your site's SEO to add the code you get from Bing, it is just below where you added the Google Webmaster code.

Not to burst tour bubble, but try searching keyword "I rode Snowman" in an incognito window and without quotes. Better yet, do it from a computer you normally don't use, such as in an internet cafe.Recheck the ranking.
If you are using your own computer to search, Google is recognizing what is stored in your own cache and showing you what you want to see. This is not a true result.
Thanks for the information. I will remember.
