Fighting Poverty the WA way.
This is what my friend Ramses Baptiste posted the other night:
"Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like."
How can we reverse this trend?
I asked myself this question because that's my way of looking for answers and solving problems.
Then I realized we have a very big problem in our world, it is a money problem that lies on a lack of financial education. So many folks believe they can earn a good living, successfully raise children, or even pursuit their dreams while Working a job.
Just too many people aren't earning enough money to afford the things they need.
Some articles advise people to live below their means so they can survive Life. Pretty much accept that they are just not good enough to live well.
I think that is unfair. Those people deserve all the great riches God has placed on earth for them. We deserve to live well, maybe within our means and some more.
If waking up every morning at 5:00 Am to get on the JOB is not providing enough for us and our family, may be we need to stop doing the same thing over and over and try something New.
I believe Entrepreneurship is our answer, with some other financial habits adjustments.

I agree totally. And learning online marketing means you're always prepared to make money, even if your job is downsized. Always good to have multiple income streams.
Our school system has been preparing us for the corporate world... pretty much telling us to go work for somebody and make his or her dream a reality. What about our dream?
Yes, it's true. Money and the nuts and bolts of making it and keeping it are not taught to kids. So we learn late, and the hard way.

I believe, school systems need to start teaching entrepreneurship to our children at an early age.
I have seen some kids online that have figured it out on there own, quite remarkable I would have to say. :))
Youre right Kholmes. Nathan Latka, ceo of heyo.com made millions atthe age of 18. That kid knows his marketing. He never had a real job.
I just started teaching my two 9 years old and my 6 year old how to build their first websites. They get so exites about that stuff.
That is very cool. My son has been on a laptop since he was about 3 years old (15 now)....he knows his stuff that is certain. :))
