put in the first content for the website

I am having trouble deciding if I should add the content as a blog. or adding it to the pages. Or if I should have the blog side for the website to review the websites and add the content to only the page side.
I am confused and would just like to know which way makes sense? Or is it my choice on how I want to enter the matter a little at a time or not?

You should use posts for the majority of your content, as only posts can have categories assigned to them, for example "News", "Reviews", etc. These categories can then be placed in menus, so that when a visitor clicks on "News" only posts with that category will be displayed.
