2019 is around the corner, are you ready?!?!
It seemed as if 2018 came and went so fast, but it definitely left its mark. I can't wait for 2019 and what it has to offer. My focus will be to TAKE ACTION on things that MATTER most in life, and what I what out of it.
I believe we are in control of aspects in our lives that make the most difference, we just need to focus and tap into our skills and figure out how to assist others.
"It is better to give, than receive" I think that's how that goes.
I want to talk about GOALS and how I plan to attack 2019!!!SMAC!!!
At some point, I learned this concept and ran with it for a for many years. At some point, I also let it go. What I mean is, I was dedicated to writing my goals on paper daily using the SMAC method.
I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE IT MADE IN MY LIFE!!!
When you know exactly what you want out of life and have the clear picture in your mind, you have no choice but to do what it takes to make it a reality. I encourage you to dream big and know anything is possible as long as you believe it, and are willing to do what it takes to make it happen.
Goals you set should be measurable, there are many ways to look at this aspect of goal setting. For example, you may set a goal that you anticipate to accomplish in a years time. However, you decide to measure your progress monthly to make necessary adjustments as needed.
On the other hand you may decide that you have an opportunity that you think is worth investing a lifetime to grow, and time is not an issue. In that case, you want to focus energy on hitting milestones at certain points on your journey. Break it down and make it simple.
Never set yourself up for failure, but don't be afraid to dream big and set HUGE goals may seem impossible to most. If you know that you hate writing posts or simply don't have the time necessary to commit to one a day, DON'T SET GOALS YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T ACCOMPLISH AS YOU SET THEM!
At the same time you don't want to stop dreaming. However, I think often times we don't dream BIG ENOUGH. I'm sure we have all heard it before, and it true. I'm guilty of it too, but is something I will change moving forward.
When you accomplish challenging goals it forces you to grow, and gets me excited to set more goals. I firmly believe goals are meant to challenge you in order to make you stronger. Similar to your daily workout to challenge you and build muscle.
It is important to remember that it takes time and it will be challenging along the way. Think of the end result or product you are after and keep pushing forward. Hold yourself ACCOUNTABLE and do what you say or write on your goal sheet.
I am looking forward 2019, setting goals and knocking them down. Dreaming BIG and keeping fear out of my mind as I attack my game plan. I encourage you all to set weekly goals, and daily goals that allow you to accomplish the weekly goals then build from there. You can accomplish anything you put your mind to, you just have to be willing to work for it.
