While I was away from WA my websites suffered

For personal reasons I was unable to do too much.

My income decreased because I wasn't writing blogs. I was to tired.

Yes, my excuse was a good one but it is personal so I won't mention it here. But I hope to change all that because of invigorated energy.

In any case, that's not what I wanted to tell you.

My many friends here will know. ( Because I've carried on about it before.)

I believe there are many ways to earn a living online apart from blogging.

Thankfully WA introduced me to all of them.

Well, actually fellow members did, but I wouldn't have known about them without WA.

One of my oncome sources within this platform is to buy up domain names that I believe will become valuable. Some I may eventually use to built more websites, others will just sit there for a while.

To date I have purchased 10 Domain names. So far they have cost me around $140..

I say so far because every year you have to pay a fee to keep the names. Usually this fee is the same as the original cost.. For example, most names cost me $13.99 initially and should cost that amount again on renewal.

Now this is the exciting part.

I haven't done a thing with those names. I simply have them parked here at WA.

But their value has skyrocketed.

I understand that 10 isn't a lot. But it is only a small hobby income, and I have tried to minimize the risk.

So what's the risk?

Well they might not increase in value.

However, this lot did.

Well you can check.your domain values on a number of sites. I use three and average them.

Simply type 'Domain values ' in Google and it will bring up a host of possible sites you can use.

WHAT ARE THEY WORTH.. you scream in annoyance.

Well, I'll tell you

Yes, you did see it correctly.

To be truthful, they're only worth that if I sell them, and I'm not ready to do that yet.

The point of this blog is to help other members to understand that blogging is not the only one way to make money using your WA platform.

Apart from blogging and domain buying/selling, you can also start an ecommerce site or use your available websites to host out to other business's. There can be an incredible market available for you in your own home town.

If you find blogging difficult then you simply have to 'look outside the square' for other options.

Use Your Imagination.

Do your research.

You will be surprised at what you can discover if you utilize Google search.
