Don't underestimate the power of Social Media

Social media can be one of the biggest platforms of organic AND paid traffic if utilized correctly. Over the last few weeks, Jay has held a live training of how to be effective with facebook.

From watching these trainings as well as following the initial insights from Kyle, you should be able to gain traction and traffic to your niche website.

Don't make the mistake of feeling embarrassed to share your post with friends and family. Ask them to like and share the posts from your facebook fan page.

Case Study

Here's proof that the training at WA works. Today I published new content to my website. I then went to the website, and the new post. Opened up google Analytics Chrome extension.

I then followed the training methods and posted the link to my facebook and google fan pages with a small caption (no boost traffic). I then liked and shared it from my personal profiles. Then back to the website and watched Analytics.

In 17 minutes, I had just under 1900 hits to that one page. I even got a notification from facebook saying that post performed 82% better than any other post on the fanpage.

In the next two hours I had an additional 732 hits. So in under 2 and a half hours 2600 people were visiting my site.

Word of mouth Has always been the best Marketing.

Here's the best part. I just logged into my campaign manager to see 372 new subscribers. In turn, all those new subscribers received a thank you email along with some very attractive coupons to one of my affiliate partners.

Now I have to check tracking on that link.

I know, I get excited easily. I have no patients. 233 Clicks! That means not only did the autoresponder email get opened (292 to be exact), but these readers followed the link to the affiliates product. This particular affiliate has a 60 day cookie retention, and the advertised promotion is only good for the month of October. Needless to say, I am excited to see what the next few days hold in regards to commissions.

I will say it again. Learn! Learn as much as you can. Follow the trainings and be patient. How much is one hour of your time worth? How much money are you losing by not following the trainings?
