Google Docs - How do I transfer to Wordpress?

Hi All,

So up to date I have been writing my posts and pages in Microsoft Word and than copy and pasting into WordPress. Well, today I decided to join the cool kids and start using google docs!

My questions is that with word I know I needs to hit the "W" key in order to post the text in correctly (see pic below).

But what about with google docs? Am I also using the "W" Key or using the "T" key or just entering without using any keys? I hope this makes sense. Let me know what you google doc experts think.

Thanks for reading!

wonder how to check the reading score, do google docs built in score reading?

I'm not sure, what is a reading score? Do you mean word count?

no, this is the the score of reading of the document. which will helps in SEO as well

Oh, interesting. I'm not sure if google docs has anything like that. I think it's just meant to be more like a free word doc writer. But I honestly don't know. I only use it to type and save my pages and posts.

if you are paranoid about formatting being carried over use wordpad to do a paste special option that strips most things out, but the "W" is more than enough...

Awesome, thank you!

Hey Jill,
I just tried a little experiment in Google Docs (I was curious myself) and it just copied it as text. So any formatting that you do in G Docs looks like it won't carry over. It makes sense in a way because they are completely different programs and would have to be interpreted differently.
Best Regards,
Jim

I would guess the W because it probably has formatting as well.
