A little humor will do it?

Do what? Our love of laughter and humor makes us want to share a funny YouTube videos or text our friends with a LOL ending or to put a Smile note face on the refrigerator. It is a delight to write something down with an unattended pun.

When it comes to writing, people often think it must come from a fiction or satire or some comedy. Yes, this is where one finds a lot of humor and downright laughter.

But effective humor comes within that person who is doing the writing. One outward way is to take the reader by surprise and lead them to a direction they do not realize they are going. Simply by using metaphors or any surprise wordings leads down to the path of giggle without knowing why.

We would rather laugh that lie face down on the carpet and cry. (I am not talking about my "pee" carpet.) Now see there. That is the surprise that makes readers giggle.

Authorities agree that the ability and desire to laugh lessons tensions and pint up emotions and anxiety. That makes common sense does it not?

These are both excellent reasons to use humor or laughter in our websites. A reader who is smiling will continue paying attention and will read on to the end. To a link, perhaps?

Humor can help cement the bond you are trying for in order for the readers to trust you. You want your readers to like what they are reading so that they will remember the ending and come back to another taste of your website.

I like to think the writing about the funnier side of things reduces the stress of writing and boosts the creative side of you I believe everyone has to a certain degree.

But how can I add this in my website. Perhaps a funny incident comes to your mind. Well enhance or exaggerate on that that made a smile on your face. The clue is to find the funnier side of things.

Here are some ideas I can run by you to help with the humor in your website.

Don't use sarcasm.

Laugh along with your readers.

Use it sparingly. You should not come across as a comedian.

Have fun and best wishes. Oh I believe you can look up Howto Wiki to get ideas too, but I believe you can do it yourself. Just one sentence maybe all that it takes to convince you that you are a funny person after-all.
